Verse I.

Prisoners of politics fatherless sons who body kids, now ya’ll know what the story is.
Where most days are problematic, and this world’s ways are systematic – to kill us all and turn us into addicts.
In this kaleidoscope buyers of dope hit spots and cop products to flood blocks with fire, smoke and rubble.
Nothing but trouble in the dirty hustle, where it’s a struggle just to make a muscle. On the grind where you find that you’re nobody – until somebody kills you. It ain’t no telling what somebody will do!
‘Cause it’s dog eat dog, kill or be killed an eye for an eye you keep it real or you’re just living a lie.
But I promise that until my demise, I will strive for a – better way of life and the bluest skies.
I break bread with the truest guys – the realest kind my people unity starts with you and I – God bless us!

Hook: God, bless you and me, living in the last day’z
Open up ya’ eyes stay wise and be the people that the devil despise! (repeat)

Verse II:

It’s like slavery without the ships, or a way to beat us without the whips, brainwash or cheat us out of our chips.
You see the shadows of a broken man, quiet and confused used to be a proud and outspoken man –
Until this world broke him in – and crack came on the scene and turned this thinking man into a smoking man –
Already a drinking man; using 100 proof to drown any evidence of the truth. He’s got a family somewhere too –
Thinking of Dad and if the streets ate him; his kids still love him but Wifey she hates him!
Little Junior that looks and speaks just like him is growing up fast to be just like him – trifling.
At 13 he’s drinking white lightning, and smoking black and milds; it’s no wonder he’s under grey clouds.
It’s just a vicious circle, a terrible cycle of evil and that’s why I pray everyday for my people – God bless us!

Hook: G o d, b l e – s s you and me, living in the last day’z
Open up ya’ eyes stay wise and be the people that the devil despise! (repeat)

Verse III:

And they think, if he ain’t rappin’ no more, what’s he doing? If he ain’t chasing after the dough, what’s he pursuing?
What’s really real, I heard he walked away from his deal, heard he don’t even walk the streets with his steel.
I know hip-hop will miss him man he used to be ill, now let me – dead all the rumors floating around in the mill –
I ain’t gone, see it ain’t like a brother got killed, I’m only here to do the Most High’s will and I will you see –
G-o-d, g-a-v-e m-e a j-o-b and I’ma d-o i-t, to the fullest extent, gotta represent, my life through the Old and New Testaments.
Some cats are hesitant to come forth with the truth but me – I’ma bring it to you whether I rap talk or sing to the youth, with everything that I bring to the booth I’m ‘bout to send this whole thing through the roof now follow me (as I follow Christ!)!

Hook: G o d, b l e – s s you and me, living in the last day’z
Open up ya’ eyes stay wise and be the people that the devil despise! (repeat)
